I'll Start Monday

As a person who would love to lose a bit of weight, I just can't bring myself to join to gym. My problem is that I'm obviously a tad lazy with also the constant common quote, 'I'll start Monday', I just need that extra push to get me going.

My motivation is to lose weight for my cousins wedding at the end of February 2014, this is a good timescale to make a dent into my goal for a new healthy lifestyle which will help me also keep it off rather than a quick fix crash diet. I've tried to motivate myself by getting myself a new pair of trainers but they are just collecting dust on top of my wardrobe, but by also researching different diets to try and get some courage to start as I've noticed I'm becoming a bit of a recluse with going out with my friends who I adore, that are all skinny mini's yet they still complain about their appearance, which only makes me feel well... a bit rubbish.

This post will hopefully get me started to do something today rather than leave it till yet another Monday.

I'm going to take up swimming, such a good way of keeping fit whilst also having fun.

How Many Calories Will Swimming Burn?

30min Swimming:
Recreational: 90-220kcal

Moderate: 150-370kcal

Vigorous: 220-550kcal

This transformation is brilliant, always inspires me when seeing other peoples result's. I recommend you do this yourself, no matter what you think of your image at the start this is you want to know to then notice the change & help you to achieve what you want. Take a new picture in the same position & place every 2-4 weeks to notice any changes in your body. Motivation.

Healthy eating doesn't mean you cut out everything, these meals look amazing and will fill you up to leave you feeling good!

Hope you have enjoyed my post and this will get you motivated to start today rather than tomorrow! Post your results or healthy lifestyle tips below, I'm always looking for more motivation. Will hopefully post my results in a few months.

With Love,

  1. I usually stay in shape by (not so much counting calories) just watching what I eat, like if I eat a chinese for tea I'll make sure I dont have a big dinner.
    - I rarely snack between meals I think hobbies are good to keep you busy so swimming sounds good!
    - Drinking green tea keeps your metabolism going so helps you burn off better :) I recommend this loads! might do a post just on what this has benefited for me if you are interested! ? :)
    - I have a routine, dance workout dvds are great, i use weights for my back of arm to tone and do squats

I don't know if this is any useful but this is a good post!
